21 years ago today, on September 7, 1996, Tupac Shakur was fatally wounded during a drive-by shooting at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in Las Vegas, Nevada. In keeping with my habit of publishing articles related to Tupac on dates that are significant to his life and death, I wanted to share two excerpts from my upcoming book, Lost in the Whirlwind: A Guide to the Music and World of Tupac Shakur, with you.
